Mother earth, father sky

Brother sun, sister moon

On shifting point eternal noon

At midnights shift my dreams consume

The dragon pulls me from all sights

Earthy terror and delight

Into the detached maelstrom

The bed quakes

The body judders and shakes

The soul flies

Some dream of death and never wake

Some dream of life and never die

Some die in dreams and wake to life

This way the soul knows of its self

Where in falls the shadow between waking and dreaming?

When earth shifts where is the measure?

When moon spirals away?

When fire consumes the sun at it death?

When the earth is no more?

We must trust in rebirth, trust in the soul   

Hold fast to your family
