Sea siren
An open window is a poems charity
Where a lamppost is lit in the mist of dark
Where death lurks like oily green slicks
On seas, where dead flesh dissolves,
Congeals disintegrates,
I desire, I take I drink
And pour out my laughter
I refuse to cry…as the night with its rain
Washes another soul into ever thirsty seas
On shore their loved ones cry out their names
A trawler wind's in its net
salt water and debri pours through its holes
Another night of arduous toil
With no one to blame but God.
an open window is a poems charity
echoing the lost
another sea tale to be told
of a monster who has no heart
