a rock i throw
through the glass of the past
where the flowers grow
where breezes blow
waters flow
the die is cast slow is fast
first comes last
once bitten twice shy
no woman no cry
beaten cheated defeated
locked out the door
hit me to the floor
kick kick me more
it drives me insane
i love the pain

Nolan, you write with POWER.

Nolan, you write with POWER. Well done. I read other poems belonging to your heart and the same quality exists there. "Kick kick me some more" is your penance and perhaps you like it as in the last line because it gives you -- position -- validity instead of simply giving up. Writing is fun, eh?
