Where Were You When the Sky Cried?

Its eyes opened

The tears came falling down

It cried out in anger

A bitter howling sound

Its eyes flashed in warning

Of the storm that was to come

All the while its mood darkened

While people turned and ran

As quickly as it cried

It suddenly stopped

The tears ceased

And the shouting ended

Its eyes gleamed

And the sky smiled wide

All of the people smiling with it
