1.
The stars are diamonds in the sky
that gleam as Santa's sleigh goes by;
the moons a lustrous pearl that glows
and turns to silver, all below.
2.
Against the dark and snow and cold,
small windows glow like squares of gold
and, within every house, a pine
tree wrapped in twinkling tinsel shines.
Chorus:
And it puts a little Christmas sparkle
deep within your heart
when you hear the sound of sleighbells tinkle
and the Christmas music starts
and you feel a sort of Yuletide glow
as you look out and you see the snow
and it feels like such a magic time
when the whole world seems to gleam and shine.
3.
And underneath each mistletoe
a blissful Christmas kiss will glow
and 'cause of all the yuletide cheer
you'll see smiles glow from ear to ear.
4.
And brightest of the Christmas lights
are children's eyes filled with delight
and childrens smiles like jewels of joy
as they unwrap their Christmas toys.
Chorus:
And it puts a little Christmas sparkle
deep within your heart
when you hear the sound of sleighbells tinkle
and the Christmas music starts
and you feel a sort of Yuletide glow
as you look out and you see the snow
and it feels like such a magic time
when the whole world seems to gleam and shine.
