Half-a-pint of Sainsb'ry Gin,

twenty gills of T-bird:

that's the way Bacardi goes,

pop goes the riesling.

 

Every night when I get home,

the punch is on the table:

drink it down and hold my nose

pop goes the riesling.

No, I remember it. Looked it up a while ago when I wrote something else to do with "Weasel"

BTW it always makes me laugh how much early Bowie (pre Space Oddity) sounds like Anthony Newley (Mr Joan Collins as was, mind you, there have been a few of those!)
