"Drive really carefully" she said.

Hadn't heard her 
say anything like that
for quite some weeks.
Walked away to my car 
thinking in gloom
that soon, I'd never hear 
those words again.
So I went back,
knocked on the door,
(though I have a key)
I asked her:
"Say that once more
So I can press record"
So I could hear it out loud
not just in my head.
She didn't ask
why I requested, just answered
"Drive really really really carefully"
She said.

To have voice recordings, not just photographs, must be rather nice, and I suppose especially something personal and memorable like that. Rhiannon

so strange and touching how a few words can take on such a special significance. Perhaps it's because of the care she's showing for you in saying them?
