PRIORITIES

we've all had an occasion

where we were quite overloaded

a bag was ripped, the contents tipped

a jelly jar exploded

and yet you saved a loaf of bread

which could have stood the landing

but minds may take a little break

till reaching understanding

decisions, unexpectedly

can keep a person hopping

choose which are such that you must clutch

and which are safe for dropping

for when it comes to matters

as to what's inside my belly

i'd choose instead the dented bread

as long as graced by jelly
