i've gotten logophobia

i can't believe my luck

i'm feeling weak,

i'd love to speak

but do not have the pluck

i want to spin out poetry

dramatic and sincere

but how absurd

devoid of words

i've just been sitting here

i'm scared that it may worsen

and will kick me to the curb

i'll waste away

until the day

mere letters would disturb

but hell, it's no life sentence

i shall return someday

with pen in hand

well in command

to write the wrongs away

Hi Alvin, this sounds like a writers nightmare.

Had to look up that word Logophobia, never heard of it before.

You're very imaginative at building poems around words and images.
