Railing and road and wet tarmac
Frame this blustery morning.
And at the pinnacle, the peak,
The bridges arch,
Two shadows
Huddled in anonymous intimacy,
Hand in hand in sombre silence
For some beautiful tragedy unknown,
Move slowly
In step,
In perfect pace,
Out of reality
And into distant imagination.
While I move on,
Playing games with the faces
And counting the cars;
Looking for America

I think we're all looking for
I think we're all looking for an America of one sort or other.
