Ramblings On Faith

Faith is not lost, it is stolen

And there are many thieves

Friends, foes, family

Intent or accident

It matters not

The result remains the same

Something precious is missing

Who would choose

To have no hope

To feel empty, broken

My thought is no one

And regardless

For what, you had faith

Be it a god

A man

Or maybe, 

Just a simple ideal

It was yours 

You had every right to it

Then the world comes along

And it is taken from you

So is that it

You are defeated

A vanquished hero

Is that how your story ends

I have faith it is not
