A Prologue
P K Routray
A scantily clad lady
with frail, skinny body
prematurely old
having a stick in her hold
carrying on her shoulder
probably her granddaughter,
a malnutritioned child
crying loud and wild
out of thirst and hunger
ahead she totters.
