began as an ocean
with lobsters
and sand dunes--
proudly on the shore
ferns grew tall.
A rainbow forms
half a necklace
at dawn--
each end showing
baskets of gold
a treat for brave ones--
lap of grass climbs
from its roots.
Cows munch as royalty
on the pasture
and I am a voyeur
as a ray of sunshine
since I enjoy
the intensity of it all.
