The last breath

In the lone dark confinement
She breathed all alone.
Cursing dear God
As she deeply mourned
Pain stricken and abandoned,
She was left for the beasts.
They might return any time,
To their beautiful feast
Her deep blue gown
So pure and divine,
Waved to the tunes,
As she reminisced the times
Ah, Good old days!
Those sparkly smiles,
Gushing talks,
With handsome Mr. Nile.
Running all crooked
Wading through the maze,
Bubbling and splashing,
With sisters of grace.
The colors vanished
To shades of gray
As tears trickled
down her face
The moon turned red
As she wept alone
That eerie silence
Now had a tone
Rippled in fear,
She grew all pale
Those haunting footsteps,
Were back again!
