Your tail is a trick
a finely tuned instrument
wafting out of sight.
Blessed with silent flight
seizing life with taloned grip
secret as the night.
Green caterpillar
the size of a pine needle
bridged between two leaves.

I like these. The fox one is very lovely indeed based on its tail. What about just ‘bridge’ re the caterpillar if you’re not sure about ‘bridged’? :)
