Light Of Samhain

When golden leaves fall
may each one be blessed,
they've danced in
summer breezes
but consequently
their song is
almost over,
as roses with
flamboyance
peeped from
between
greenery,
resolved like
undercover
agents...exposed
job done!
Without delay
pressed
into pages,
later to be
scattered
upon altar
as Samhain
draws near,
looking
forward to
long winter nights
by candlelight,
their beauty and
pleasure
is now yours
Mum And Dad.
