On The Road With God

As a young lad Bill was very connected with the church . He loved to just sit there and look at the statues . Something always drew him in through the doors of the building . Once inside time went so quickly .
He wanted to be a priest when he grew up . That's all he wanted to do .
One night Bill had a vision of the blessed virgin Mary .
When he shared that with other people they started to talk ,
From that day on Bill started to have problems .
Doctors were called and Bill had to be assessed .
He was said to have had a hallucination and was put on medication .
More and more he stopped going to church and stayed longer in his bedroom half asleep .

By the time he was leaving school he had lost his friends who though he was weird .Bill had never had any relationship with anyone outside his family .
Once his parents died Bill was virtually alone in the world .
He had only a few skills and held jobs for a very brief time .
Like a leaf on the wind Bill had drifted for years from place to place .

Doctors told him he had schizophrenia and he believed them because they were doctors . The doctors put him on all kinds of medication but nothing seemed to help him, he felt tired and dull every day .

He tried to hold down a steady job but the medication he was taking made it very difficult to organize his everyday life .  

In and out of jobs . Tagged as a mental patient .

At 18 he was diagnosed as having Bipolar disease and they said he would need medication for the rest of his life .
Bill listened to the doctors and took all the medication they advised that would help level out his behaviour . Bill talked to God and asked for help and then and there in that moment like an unseen picture an image was developing before Bill inner eyes .
He was seeing life how God wanted it to be for him .
An inner voice said to give up taking medication and trust again .
Bill could hear God speak in the depths of his being . The words he heard was   ,
Because I created you I can cure you .
I know you better than anyone my son . Faith shall overcome your troubles , from this day you are a new man . Go and look for me for I am out there .

Bill found a new understanding in life and his relationship with God was the key that brought ho, through times of trial and tribulation .
Between Bill God there was an always on call . Anytime Bill wanted to talk God was there .

Within Bills troubled mind he was given the grace of receiving a healing that Doctors where never able to do . Something unexplainable happened .

In Bills back garden pathways that had been overgrown with weeds had been transformed into a garden of colourful plants . Bill was seeing little miracles everyday .

God is good and Bill began to see just how true that was .

Miracles come when we least expect because that’s when God is commanding .

Bill began to paint pictures and write stories about this mysterious wonder now in his life  . The receiving of grace is a complete package .

Bills first novel Outside the Mirror was a huge success followed by

His second book An end to the beginning.

Regarded as works of genius he was supported by one of the biggest publishers in the world who ensued Bill received a masters degree and after wards he was elevated to teach at University where he quickly rose to become one of the most prolific academic artist of his time .

Like a voice of an old friend God called Bill back to his heart .
Bill walked in to a church one morning and sat down . He looked up at all the pictures on the walls .
He felt an urge to pray and words flowed like water from a tap .
God responded . Go and speak with everyone you meet . Do not fear for I nd I will place the words in your heart .

Bill left the building and within a few moments he saw a middle aged lady fall to the ground . She was having a seizure and starting to shake .

Bill went to her assistance and placed his hand on her shoulder , saying
"Be still "
The moment he touched her the lady was healed . She stood up and looked at Bill and realised he was blessed .

She handed him a card and said ,

'This is my business card . There is a job if you want it . The hours are good and the money is above average . Think it over and give me a call ."
Then she went over to a fancy car and got in and drove away .
Just then Bill saw a Mother and child attempt to cross over the road but they never saw the bus coming towards them .

Bill stepped out in front of the bus and held up his hand .

The bus driver hit the brakes so hard that the tyres of the bus smoked and as the bus skidded sideways it missed the Mother and child who were so shocked at the near miss that they screamed aloud in fear .
Bill went over and placed his arms around them .
Immediately they stopped crying .
It was a powerful moment . Bill knew God was with him .
More and more every day Bill found God in other situations .
He knew then that God had become a reality in his life .
He went on  pilgrimage for three years speaking to many people about the wonder of miracles .
During that time his every need was provided for and in each place he went there was food and shelter that miraculously came his way .
Every where he went , people provided food and accomadation for him  .

Bill was walking with a faith that not many had
There were signs everywhere he went .
In a park one day he began to preach openly .
He attracted a large audience who listened intently to what he was sharing .
Words came to him as if from nowhere .
He spoke with wisdom and eloquence .
He was able to answer questions thrown at him .
In a short period of time Bill had some people who wanted to support .
When Bill was given a bus from a youth ministry in the area to go on the road for Christ , Bill explained he had no license and couldn't drive .
A driver was provided and the ball was rolling .
With a number of people on board the bus , they took the Gospel on the road .
Many were cured and many were converted .
In a brief while Bill was preaching in front of packed stadiums .
Signs and wonders presented themselves ever where he went .
This story has no end because Gods work goes on forever .

God often choses those unexpected people to do unbelievable things to confuse the clever and wise . Bill had been diagnosed with a mental illness but God had bigger plans beyond mans understanding .
