Do Not Ask

Does a sparrow Does a daisy
see a kingfisher, think itself a rose
in puddles, in colours
when the sun shines unexpected
after showers? and miniature?
Am I the cat
or his monarch?
May I look at him,
or must he look at me?
Who does the man in the moon see,
when he looks at the blue planet?
Perhaps he cannot see at all,
being blinded by the Sun.
What am I,
but the mote
in God’s eye?

Ewan,im thinking about
Ewan,im thinking about hummingbirds and kingfishers and here find a fine musing...'a little blue dot' (Sagan) in the eye, love the idea of the rose...and the mote in gods eye. Love the Daisy and Sparrow lead in, super poem on reflection...enjoyed.

introspection and refelction
introspection and refelction -although its unavoidable, I often actively run from introspection! Especially if havent the time or willing....tough! can come across reflections in a puddle without trying - I think the imagination is being a stubborn git when unwilling, but no use trying to tell it - no use trying too hard at anything...and then something happens. Too much introspection... when looking outward there are reflections there already...seems like filling in the spreadsheet twice sometimes....too much navel gazing, too much The Runner not good either. You've two good feet Ewan is what Grandma would say right now...Jump to it! Get cracking, just go do it....meaning something like that Nicky

I enjoyed this so much. I
I enjoyed this so much. I love the sparrow's and daisy's reflection's in particular, and how it makes you question self-perception. Very good indeed.
