In the Land of Everything

Part 1

There is no speech

nor walking

or even riding in

any sort of vehicle

as seen upon the earth-

before the end

descended

without a thud

or squalls of unhappy

moments - it was foretold

life as we knew it

would one day end.

Part 2

Now we flit about

as molecules

of energy -- each of us

the recipient of God’s gift

a planet or star

upon which to dwell

travelling to and from

requires but a moment

of thought

and we are there.

Distance is forever

since there is no end

to the left nor right.

Each pulse of our being

a ray of energy

full of understanding

and happier

than ever moments.
