some poem in my dream

simple,
written by some man that
beamed twin bleached eyes,
gleamed gunmetal hair,
donned a suit & a tie -
a crumpled picture of austere.
six lines were carved
on some
stone slab,
encrusted in gold & onyx,
excavated from beneath a pyramid,
crownless head exhumed from it.
mantra on the stanza's crown
crested & eddied
in the coffin air,
hissed with some
python tone,
and hung there.
the rest of the sestet
listed places I’ve never been
with words I’ve never seen -
Chicago lined the throat;
the Queen’s Mote raked the scarlet chest;
and G.G. Allen's Bridge splayed the ribs.
dot to dot,
star to star,
head to tail,
each etch emit entropy,
flickering images on some
cosmic wall.
imprinted each strand of drowsy mesh -
the melded wires,
the waxen birds,
the balletic embers -
in some
blistering negative.

Welcome to ABC Tales
Welcome to ABC Tales!
Some wonderful use of language here - I would love to hear this read aloud. GG Allin rang a vague bell, so I Googled, and then spent more time than I should looking at old videos!
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
