"yinno"

- 898 reads
the words fall from your lips
a cataract of polysyllabic nonsense
superrapid
solipsistic
logicisatrocious
your discourse markers
are meaningless
meaning less the more
you scatter them
where you stop for breath
yinno
your gabble shows
the lack of belief
as the flim and flam
are perceived through
the bafflegab and obfuscation
you must finish
though expiry through
forgetting to breathe
be the price of oratory
it is worth every
yinno
you speak before the assembled
we your captive audience
imprisoned by you
the relentless invisible foe
and our own sense of duty
the trick of rhetoric has passed
you by on the other side
there are no samaritans
to help you in your confusion
you could just speak slower
yinno
