Yes I do feel better

I made friends with someone who ran a jazz bar.
It was the third time I'd been there that I realised
I should say hi, I'm John, I don't like jazz
but it's nice to come here sometimes and are you ok
that you have so few customers? It must be hard
running an unsuccessful jazz bar does it make you lose
that passion you once had for jazz is there any way
you can get more people coming in? I would help
but if I had my own jazz bar it would be the exact same
situation, no customers except one person in the corner
drinking house red with a notebook, It's a Specsavers now,
it didn't even last a year and it feels sad that's where he goes
to get his eyes tested. You can still hear what a shop
used to be if you listen hard enough. Why else
would people be humming Duke Ellington
in the waiting room?
