Sonnet 4

And when I see You then and face to face,

I promise not to fall and weep ashamed,

I want to gaze deep into eyes of grace,

I want to hear Your voice just say my name.

Your love will pour like honey over me,

Your love that long ago removed my stain,

I will with unveiled eyes begin to see,

Eternity displayed and glory reign.

At last, to know the one my heart adores,

Who only ever loves forever pure,

I've been so far adrift on distant shores,

Now heaven's light begins the holy cure.

Your faithfulness to me the Spirit's seal,

Your life in me the only life that's real.
