Its Gone

it gone it gone but the words linger on 

if I could remember them 

that would be a start

but i can't remember 

a single letter of the words

it is so sad very sad 

do I feel a little bad 

no, I don't 

i only feel 

little unreal 

the words 

were so perfect 

and flow in rhyme 

and then 

my mind warning 

about something I've forgotten 

and then I went back to them 

but I couldn't  remember them 

even if i look at my blue and white socks

it's so bad I'm not a poet laureate 

so i should not feel that bad 

i won't be a Keats or that other bloke 

but that ok i don't feel to bad

this might not make a lot of sense on a Saturday afternoon 

with the sun coming into my room 

but i been sitting here with rhythm in my heart

but what can i do 

when the rhythm escape 

 and the word feels like they have gone down the loo
