Dancing Where The Fairies Dwell
By Paul McCann
I’ve still got a chance just as long as you’re here
for a dance with the daisies at dawn ,
when the dewdrops fall, it makes no sense at all ,
to wonder where the magic has gone
Don't delay a new days coming our way
but the dusk still has all her demands ,
she’ll be chasing the daylight from the twilight
as the music of the night commands .
Well the first dance belongs to the debutantes
where all the fairies of dell come from
and all through the night the diamonds will shine
in the sky until the light of the dawn .
Dewdrops are waiting delicately poised
as the night is drawing to a close
and in the dazzling light of a new day
the magic has gone where nobody knows .
Dancing where the fairies dwell
and all of the gypsies will be tipsy on their toes ,
so tell me where does all the magic go ,
sure nobody knows and on the wind blows .
.

I think the magic has gone
I think the magic has gone into your words. This is absolutely beautiful, and a poem I can relate to in so many ways.
From a big fan of fairies and all things magical.
