Season of the Cool

Before the day
glows with favour
& my eyes begin
to show movement
the wind is
soft upon my face.
I can smell apples
from the tree
above me.
Tenting in the
Fall may be outrageous
yet adventurous
& full of being alive-
good morning... everyone.

Bit puzzled, Richard. Didn't
Bit puzzled, Richard. Didn't mean any rebuke or criticism - or did you mean a joke about the apple 'slapping your cheek'?! I was just amused because you pictured yourself under the apple tree, enjoying their smell, and talking about the 'fall' being adventurous, and so wondered whether you had a bump suddenly from one descending.
I hadn't noticed the indents and the bold actually, or thought about it. It doesn't affect the verse.
Christian greeings, enjoy your memories and writing and fellowship, Rhiannon
