You would expect so but I bet that as their team was called "the three lions''. their pride would not allow them to admit defeat.

I think the "It's coming home" thing is as much a curse as the wait itself since 1966.But therein lies the rub, England are not entitled to win anything by default. Gotta keep trying and be better. Congratulations to Spain who were head and shoulders above everyone else.
