What Would I Take? Part Two.

If I were in a dire situation, be it on land or at sea, what one thing would I grab, if I had to flee for my life? If I had the chance to take two things, what would that be? Would I try to grab a third? Time is always of the essence, when it comes to life and death situations.
The fifteen survivors of the stricken superyacht, I wonder what they took with them? They will all have a different story to tell this morning. Considering, they were all in a storm, fifteen is a high rescue rate.
Sometimes split-second decisions have to be made, if you zig when you should have zagged, it can be the difference of life or death! If one of the fifteen writes a book of their time on the superyacht, and their rescue, I would love to read it. None of the twenty-two people who went on that superyacht, had any inkling that tragedy was going strike.
So, what would I take, if I had a split second to make a beeline for it, to escape with my life? I would like to think, nothing, just myself, having heard about this story, and learnt from it. No one knows, what they would do, unless they were in that situation.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
RIP, and may the eighteen-year-old daughter be found soon.
