Why does that figure stay away from all other?
What does he have to hide?
He acts like a foreigner,
And just sets himself aside.
He must be concealing something secret,
Just keeping in the shadows, like a hidden bandit.
Away from the crowd, is where he lays,
He avoids all human contact.
And doesn’t even meet your gaze.
Like a cold beggar, only without a humpback.
He must be concealing something secret,
Just keeping in the shadows, like a hidden bandit.
Why does the man hide from anything that will greet?
He is afraid to look up at our world;
He knows his eyes would only meet,
The despair and dishonesty that is earth, always twirled.
That is what the world is keeping secret.
What the world is keeping in the shadows, like a hidden bandit.
