A Symbiotic Love

Love blossoms on the vine
each burgeoning fiber
stitches the signs
a frond slowly protrudes
two halves lightly yoked
young green pendant
flapping in the wind
solid membrane; hopes align
a patterned embrace
with each feathery brush
shared kiss of dew
a glossy sheen protrudes
eclipsing the growing pains
still etched in each line
stretching the fibers in kind
a fuller shape to divine
sun-spilt beams pair
with encroaching shadows
fawning, tender streams
with the darkness stride
as the weighty trials mount
the surrounding baggage of time
is pruned for rich, new growth
promising avenues to blossom
in due course, mature stems twine
the passing memories to bine

I sure hope my stem twines
I sure hope my stem twines and my memories bind. Nice one.
