My girlfriend's complaining at me, because I got her a card for Valentine's Day, but I never actually got her a present. Should I get her a present to make her happy? Or should she be grateful I got her a card?

If you want your girlfriend to stop moaning, then buy her a present. But yeah, I agree with your second question. She should be grateful that you got he a card. If you forgot altogether, then I'd understand why she's moaning. But she got a card off you, so she really does need to lighten up.
