the priest isn't
praying for you, or
your god. He's praying
for the woman in the first
pew to stop crying, and for
the child with cancer sitting
at home
to stop
dying.

He's thinking about the
fact that he's at a religious
soup kitchen, and all he's able
to dish out is hope. You see, the
fund of miracles has ran out.
Broke.

And when they ask
him to say a prayer, he
hasn't found the way
to say, "Nope."
