There's a kid at the end of my drive
He sits there for hours at a time
Clothes which have worn and worn
Have eventually ripped and torn
I have tried to help this kid outside my door
But once I open it he is there no more.
So why does this kid run away
Or is it because I should stay a way.
The kid of grey and black clothes
Sits there while passers by take no notice
Just like he isn't there
Maybe this is the case
Maybe its because only I can see him
The kid with worn and torn clothes
So take a second and stop what your doing
Go to your window and look a what you can see
Cause I can see a kid with worn and torn clothes
