Reminds me

Everything reminds me of her,
my special someone,
the one girl who
I really can imagine
a life with.
The LEDs on the
tv remind me
of her gleaming eyes,
so beautifully blue
or enchantingly green
depening on the mis en scene,
the summer sun
reminding me of the radience
of her smile,
the very smile that
still gets my heart
doing backflips,
every song on the radio
brings back memories we've shared,
I see her in everything.
I can't even look at my hands
without thinking about her,
because when I do
I see the gaps between my fingers
and remember something I heard:
The gaps between your fingers
are there so another person's
can fill them.
