Do I need yours to grant my wish?
If I choose to lead a plaintive life?
Do I need one to relish,
My wretchedness so rife?
Your own devotion lackadaisical,
Your dry humour not so comical;
Your fallacious smiles empirical,
Your lack of succor very typical...
Do I want yours to create another?
When a promise ensured flouted,
Do I want one to not smother;
My "friends" whom I clouted...
Your regal presence seemingly malicious,
Your filthy riches acrimonious,
Your words acidic but mellifluous;
Your gifted abilities so rancorous...
Do I have yours to leave,
My piteous conscience dead?
Do I have one to weave,
An ominous path instead?
Your own future providential;
Your vacuous acolytes menial,
Your welfare so essential,
Your vitriolic magnetism substantial...
