WHY THIS!?

America was under attack,
The word spread like fire,
It doesn't matter if you ask,
The culprit is a liar.

Would a war,
Sought things out,
Or will we leave it alone,
Hearing everyone cry and shout.

The world is affected,
By what has been done,
Even though we want to,
We know we cannot run.

We cannot turn back,
But what lies ahead,
It better not be disaster,
But happiness instead.
