Drop out

Drop Out
He lies on a park bench
His worldly possesions in torn plastic bags
He sleeps with his own stench
Blanket of tabloids supplemented by rags
We knew him at school
The braggart, the shy one, the gentle, the dope
He lived by the rules, but the pressures of life
Grew too much; he couldn't cope
Drop out. Drop out!
He's a man who has fallen
To the modern day pressures
So what went wrong,
With the rising star of the first eleven?
He was not that strong,
Small bets to large ones the alcohol heaven
He's blown his life
Blames malicious fate and age old Karma
He's lost his wife
Don't tell the kids a dosser is their father
Drop out, drop out!
He's a man who has fallen
To the modern day pressures.
Drop out, drop out!
He's a man who has fallen
to the modern day world.
