take me out of the cupboard,
the summer is here,
i haven't flown for ages,
i hate it in here!

we've had so much fun,
the summers come and go,
take me out of the cupboard,
and have another throw!

skim me, skim me,
across the open fields,
fields of fun and dreams,
happiness it yields!

bring along your friends,
we know its good to share,
let them have a skim,
bravely do they dare!

tell them naughty dogs,
to stay away from me
i still bear all the scars
of last summer you and me!

so take me out of the cupboard,
and skim me free,
the summer is here,
relive our fantasy!
