Burrow in the child-like haven that is your mind
Sudden cries split the night
Don't close the gap in those curtains
Yes,
a fear for what you might see
But at the same time
A strange fascination
Those lives squandered for you
Breathe in the bittersweet smoke
From the pyres below.
They burn the city for you, Helen,
so it's only natural for you to watch
isn't it?
Those men, under your spell
And what about Menelaus
He loved you
As does the world
so you think.
Does everybody love you?
They see the passion of your betrayal
The spiteful malice with which you lied
Don't think you can hide, Helen.
You are a vile temptress.
You may be beautiful,
but your heart is cold.
