Blue now; isolated and seated amongst unknowing strangers
I remember your breath upon my neck
Love's first kiss (my first kiss)
Your hand, gentle, in the small of my back
A soft fleece and the smell of your skin
Tucked in an embrace
Fingers entwined as we walked
Mouth against warm mouth
And the sun too bright as if glinting off crystal
Now crying on the plane
Wondering where you are and are you thinking of me?
Wishing I could gaze into your golden eyes again
I remember copper lashes aginst your cheek
Soft lips against mine
Whispered sorrows
I don't want to leave you
A solitary girl in the midst of a crowd
The camera focuses on her face
Flooded with tears
Safety video intruding intimate wonder
And I think over and over about kissing you
