Jurassic Park

Dear Mr. BBC,
I love animals, animals, and animals!
I watch all the TV program's, Wild Life on One, Pet Rescue, Vets in
Practice and Rolfs Animal Hospital. I think Rolf Harris is brilliant,
"tie me kangaroo down sport" ha ha!
If Rolf Harris fills me with joy then the BBC production 'Walking With
Dinosaurs' fills me with mortal fear. I think its disgusting to mess
around with nature and recreate these animals just for our viewing
pleasure. The BBC has gone too far this time. I would not fancy walking
with dinosaurs. This program has changed my life. I have developed
agoraphobia. I mean, is it safe to go outside? What if one of these
carnivorous creatures escapes from the BBC studio. I saw Jurassic Park
and it happened there. Fortunately, it was a relatively uninhabited
island.
I would like to know if the BBC has any contingency plans if there were
to be a breakout. I, for one, am quaking in my boots. Every unfamiliar
sound sends shivers down my spine. The mind plays funny tricks. Last
night the immersion heater growled but I convinced myself that there
was a Tyrannosaurus Rex upstairs.
Please put my fears to rest or advise me on any precautions I should
take in case of a breakout. Should I stand still when confronted or run
like the clappers?
Yours sincerely,
Ofar Quarson.

Dear Mr Quarson,
I was very concerned to read your letter which suggests that our series
has had a physical effect on you. My scientific advisors assure me that
there are no non-avian dinosaurs extant and, unless you have a very big
house, it is extremely unlikely that a Tyrannosaurus could fit into
your home. However, should the extremely unlikely occur and you are
faced with a dinosaur, I wouldn't run or stand still, I would walk up
to it and strike it on the nose with a hard object - apparently this
works for sharks!
