My thoughts

There isn't a day that goes by and I don't think of you.
Your face,
Your smile.
And as i stare in the darkness
Thoughts surround me.
Thoughts of you,
Thoughts of why.

There's never an explanation given as to why a life is taken.
God never leaves a note to explain his actions.
For where your life was once, is now a void.
A black hole.
And this black hole grows bigger every day.

What I'd give to see your face again,
Just to hear your voice.
Ilong for the day I can feel your touch once more.

There isn't a minute of the day that goes by and you don't cross my mind,
Just staying long enough to see i'm ok.

So goodnight and godbless,
No more pain,
no more hurt.

Be at peace
With the angels stay
And fly with them
To a better place.
