Thursday was the day,
that my auntie grew a beard,
It was long and thick, quite lustrous,
and we never thought it weird,
for such a kind and gentle maiden aunt,
to grow whiskers from her chin.
Though on Friday, to our great surprise,
it grew itself back in.
