We pause, for a while,
I see the snow fall in your eyes
I wait for that second wind
to carry you home
to a warm fire and un-chewed bone.
We pause, for a while,
your head a-side, tail tucked,
faithfull eyes glazed with lament.
We pause, for a while,
as I carry you home
in the arms of the third wind.
A place by the fire
a big furry paw reaches
as I lay with you
as you sleep your life away
Meg, my best freind, she died today.
