We grease in bed for hours-
11 episodes of Skins
Punctuated by flicking crumbs
Off my pigeon chest.
At 12.12,
We try out our worst insults:
'You are not even an echo
Of what you're trying to be.'
That one's yours-
It hurts, actually.
I am trying to be
Lots of things.
You will use it with drama
On a lover at a station
In Keighley
Watching for his face crumple.

I like this a lot, but have no idea what Skins is (tv show?) It's very real, a cruel insult is something anyone can identify with. Can't help wondering what happened in the last verse. Was this person ejected, or just waits at the station, perhaps in the morining? Of course, the poem does not say specifically, doesn't need to, only does what is needed without leading, trusting the reader to have a brain, a heart.

I love the new noun - a face-crumple - but shouldn't it be hyphenated?
