Window

The things I’ve seen from this window
I’ve seen natures tears weave their weary paths and die
Seen the spiders lace and imprison the fly
See snowflakes confetti in the street
I’ve hid from vistitors, I don’t want to meet
I’ve watched lightning dance throught the trees
Seen lovers beggin on their knees
Seen grown men sobbing and weeping
And secrets that people, thought they were keeping
Seen Silhouette’s of lovers embraces
And yes I’ve seen some right basket cases
I’ve seen neigbours taken by cars long and black
And I knew they were never coming back
I looked from this window for many a year
But even now, I am not here
Every thing must wither and die
Is it possible for a window to cry
As I look back I’m not there
Just ghosts of memories from that old chair.
