If I could write my feelings down,
show you my complete devotion.
Pour my heart into a pad,
an alphabet of emotion.

I would say that you mean so much,
in so many different ways.
Tell you how I need your touch,
with all the passing days.

Offer my whole self to you,
without a second thought.
Give you my life, my love, my heart,
without baggage or pain it's brought.

Take you in my arms embrace,
and heal your every pain.
Lonliness we have both endured,
united our joy will flame.

But for now i'll see your face,
filling this empty line.
Wait for words to drift from my soul,
as I wish for our love to entwine.

And one day i'll find a way,
to greet you, and tell you my heart.
So much easier then writing it down,
for I don't know how to start.
