The wind ruffling the leaves of a tree.
The shuffling of feet across the floor
The humming sound of a bumble bee
The knocking upon a wayward door
The barking of a dog in the City Park
The sounds of horns in the street
The whispers floating around in the dark
The ticking of a clock sets the beat
The methodical beat of a treacherous heart,
The knowing of what is unsaid
The painful cries of a love breaking apart,
This is how a blind man sees red
