running down the summer steps
Autumn breeze across the face
Walking through the icey winter
Watching spring take its place
Sun beating down upon the skin
brushed away by falling leaves
frozen by frosted flakes
brought back to life under the glow
of the trees
Rays of light streaming down from the sky
Golden reds reflected the colour of day
Untouched waves of snow still fall
as new life breathes guidnig the way
Long days turn to long nights
Dawn swiftly turns to dusk
Perfect still evenings bleeding sounds
of laughter; cradeling the cool night air.

"Perfect still evenings
"Perfect still evenings bleeding sounds
of laughter;"
like the entire poem
but this is my favorite line.
