new Blightersrock Liked this spiritual poem, very much. I mostly say The Lord's Prayer first thing,before jump out of bed, pray for all, and forgive. But some rattle my cage so much, and Ray all goes out the window. Mine says I am only nice to those outside! Well do say stick and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me. It is goading all time. So have to learn to hold my tongue, spiteful re-marks. Sensitive people will retaliate I know. Papers mentioned it was help day, to do good. So paper said two men went around, some got help, people were aware of course. Taking photos of couples,if one only did on holiday, they asked like have one to-gether why not nice. Carrying bags etc; but bit of mistrusting time now! I was just like you,what to wear, where to go etc; now don't bother so much. Paint my nails, or daughter did,and touch rouge,and bright clothes,some say look nice cheap bling rings. Sometimes I feel some critise on evryday things, garden not done can't bend. Daughter and friend can't do, she can't anymore. Say fetch in a gardener, we do,nerve! Back troubles plus other things some have. not asking why or facts. Or maybe wheelie bins come into it. Used to plonk crates in road for a space? fall over. didn't look big ones. For their cars. In my start then office,telephonists for quickness, flat pavemnt tip, tea pot out the window tea leaves. 5 minutes get, round to toilet, luckily never hit anyone, rules always. Hi Richard, just found this one and your comment about it, and about yourself. Here's a roundabout way of perspectivizing. Don't you just love that word? What do you mean it's not a real word? Where's your imagination? Ask yourself, where am I, where do I want to be, how am I going to get there? This is basically the model behind all strategic planning. Now you know where you are, and you know where you want to be, and the poem above is the path of how you're going to get there. Think of yourself as a pilgrim heading towards the Celestial City. The path runs through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. It is a very narrow path. So narrow, one cannot help but fall from it and into the mire occasionally. But one also gains enough strength during the journey to enable oneself to climb out the mire and back on to the path, as the picture of who one wants to be becomes clearer and clearer and clearer. I'm on the path too. It's a long and narrow path, I know. But it's a better path than the road I used to take, where one car crash followed another and many innocents got hurt. And on that note, I'll retire for the day wishing I'd been there to see you read this one aloud.

You know Richard- I respect your view on God. I just think this little poem is so uplifting and honest. It's a masterpiece.. ;)Pia

Very well written and thought provoking. You express yourself very well. Love is all those things. You are so right. But I can't get to `that place' yet. I hope I will. Otherwise I'm a goner too. Thanks for sharing, as they say.
